WHAT IS PHNOM PENH LIKE?

Phnom Penh is a city of contrasts and hidden gem in South East Asia. Since my bus arrived in the city, at evening time I got surprised of the bustling streets teaming with stalls selling colorful lights and street food.

I visited the city in August and I had to walk under the scorching sun, however there many restaurants and places where you can sip and ice cold drink while enjoying the peasants passing by.

The city is an allure of contrasts where modern buildings blend in harmony with semi collapses poor buildings and a swarm of motorbikes carrying from 3 to even 5 people cross the streets at all times.

There are not many tourists visiting Phnom Penh as they usually head to more touristic locations such as Siem Reap or Koh Rong.
